Welcome to Metro's Community Based Organization (CBO) Database

Welcome to Metro's CBO Database

Thank you for your interest in Metro's Community Based Organization (CBO) Partnership Database. If you are a CBO, the Database allows you to:

  • Create an account and use this database
  • Find partnering opportunities with Metro
  • Manage your organization's profile

The following groups are eligible to participate in the database:

  • Groups with Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Tax-Exempt Status (Nonprofit organizations such as those with 501(c)(3), 501(c)(4), or 501(c)(6) status)
  • Groups with a nonprofit fiscal sponsor
  • Neighborhood block group
  • Religious organizations

The following groups are ineligible to participate in the database:

  • For-profit organizations of any kind
  • Metro Small Business Enterprises (SBE), Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE), and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE)
  • Individual(s) without CBO affiliation
  • Government agencies or bodies

This database aims to:

  • Centralize CBO contact information across multiple Metro departments
  • Promote consistent communication
  • Provide a platform to track CBO relationships and partnership opportunities

The CBO database is an important component of Metro's commitment to promoting equity and advancing recommendations established under the Community Based Organization (CBO) Partnering Strategy. External government agencies: Are you seeking CBO partners for a project? Using our dedicated form, you can submit partnership opportunities to the opportunity center. If approved, registered CBO users can view your opportunity in our database.
